NASC Stock Detail Page
NASC ID: N9677
Name: Wellesbourne-17 (Thlaspi arvense)
ABRC stock number: CS9677
Description: The donor collected seed from several plants in the corner of a field in Wellesbourne. This seed was then grown, and the seed produced by these plants was pooled. An aliquot of this pooled seed was sent to NASC. NASC took the donated seed, and grew one Thlaspi arvense plant per pot. The seed was collected from one Thlaspi arvense plant in a pot, to make this particular stock. 20 single seed decent stocks (N9661 to N9680) of Thlaspi arvense have been generated in this way. Each stock only contains the seed from one plant, as it was collected from an individual plant. As the seed donated by the donor is a mix of different plants, it is possible that genetic variation between the 20 stocks (N9661 to N9680) may be not be consistent.
